At Tabernnus, we are the ambassadors of Iberian ham. Our experience confirms that this jewel is one of the greatest treasures of Spanish gastronomy, a food that nourishes the body and soul, not only for its incomparable taste but also for its nutritional qualities.
Its high levels of oleic acid make it one of the healthiest foods in the Mediterranean diet. It also provides us with vitamins from the B group; vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12, as well as vitamin E. As for minerals, calcium, iron, and zinc stand out.
Every day is the ideal day to come and taste our gastronomy at one of our establishments. Alone, with friends, as a couple, or with family.
The best ham and your favorite drink are the perfect combination. You can’t miss it!
Our purpose is to provide all our customers with an unforgettable culinary experience.
At Tabernnus, it is not just about tasting ham, it is about living a unique experience. Our hams, with a great taste and a generously baptized and shiny appearance, stand out for their nuances of dried fruit with a slight hint of freshly baked bread and are particularly tasty due to the presence of natural umami, typical of a good Iberian ham, which generates a full sensation in the mouth and achieves an appreciated sweet-salty balance. Tabernnus hams are products rich in natural umami and literally make our mouths water.
You’re probably wondering what this word means, but don’t worry, we’ll explain it to you. The word “Umami” comes from Japanese (旨味) and means a delicious, intense flavor.
It is one of the five basic tastes, along with sweet, salty, sour, and bitter, that we can distinguish, and its receptors are mainly located in the central area of the tongue. It describes a product with a pleasant, flavorful taste, and therefore, we can say it’s the essence of taste. This element describes the excellence of Tabernnus Iberian ham in the sensory aspect and communicates its true value better.

Based on a flat and temperate dish, approximately 30 cm in diameter, the slices are placed as they are cut, and a single layer of ham is formed in a circular shape, from the outside to the inside.
The fatty part of the slice is oriented towards the inside of the dish to make it easy to pick up.
